Our second cultural event was held February 16, 2011. Go for the Stars!, presented by Gary T. Pozzato featuring ROBO the Friendly Robot, brought a fun and enlightening performance to all students and teachers alike. The Multimedia Space Program provided all grades with not only educational and exciting hands on demonstrations and experiments but an insight into the aerospace industry in hopes to inspire tomorrow’s generation of scientists, astronauts and engineers.
The last in a series of cultural events, Animal Embassy, founded by local naturalist Chris Evers, provided Holy Spirit students with an age-appropriate, fun filled and highly educational experience.
The students had a hands-on opportunity to connect with incredible creatures and learn about their natural habitats.
Our first in a series of cultural events, Huga Tuga author, Joe Shandrowski, delivered a fun and innovative performance to all grades. Through the use of Joe’s own inspirational life story, the children were held captive on a 3D journey with Huga Tuga and his amazing adventures through the world of imagination.
